The musings of a sleepless mind . . .

MOTIVATION

DISCIPLINE

ACTION

EXCITEMENT

MENTAL TOUGHNESS

Well, it all seemed reasonable at 3 a.m. anyway . . .

D'oh! Not tonight.

So it's about 10:30 p.m. and the bands are lugging out and I need to get back on deck. I haven't managed to get that other promised video post in so, instead, here is one of my favourite videos of all time (I actually kinda chose it as my theme song to boost me up through this fast - yes, yes, I'm a child of the 80's). My father was in the RAAF and when I was a teenager I harboured dreams of being a fighter pilot. The reality of handing 12 years of my life over to the government eventually dissuaded me from taking that particular path but I have retained my fascination for flying, and in recent years, got to  spend time flying around with a great friend of mine in his ultra-light. Anyway, this song and video are a motivational nuclear bomb!

Up and down.

So, day 21 and I've had a couple of low energy days. I think maybe being back at work is taking it's toll . . .

That smells amazing!

Second day back at work! First day in the studio proper. Been a while since I've video blogged. I'm sure I look a bit different to the last time you saw me. Lot's to talk about so, let's get started . . .

. . . oh, and apologies for the video - I forget how annoying it is when someone constantly moves around while they are talking. I'm still getting the hang of being this side of a camera : )

Rest day.

Spent the day preparing the house for the family's return from their 10 days in Perth tomorrow. Interspersed with liberal periods of sleep and lounging on the couch reading and watching "The Godfather".

Can't wait to see the family tomorrow!
